Returns and complaints

NOTE! Services and goods purchased at www.vinitres.com, which are counted as dedicated goods, i.e. non-refundable, are tolls – vignettes with a designated expiration date and e-vignettes with an inscribed expiration date and/or vehicle registration number and/or vehicle VIN number.

If you ordered and paid for the vignette(s) and then found out that you don’t need it or made an irreparable mistake, unfortunately there is no way to return the vignette or get your money back from toll systems. In the case of vignettes, there is no right to a 14-day refund period, due to the purchase of goods/services over the Internet. According to the European Directive, road tolls are exempt:

In accordance with Art. 38 of the Law on Consumer Rights, the right of withdrawal from a contract concluded off-premises or at a distance is not granted to the Consumer, in which the object of performance is an item serving to satisfy the individualized needs of the Consumer. Returns are not subject to goods/services for which the EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights imposes restrictions.

The EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights introducing restrictions does not apply to the cost of the vignette redemption service itself on behalf of the customer, provided by the vignette.co.uk service, and thus the remuneration charged by the service for this redemption. In this case, the general provisions apply, in accordance with Art. 38 of the Law on Consumer Rights.
